Why? When selecting hardware for spoofing purposes, it's important to choose components that offer flexibility for modification. Below is a curated list of the best and worst hardware choices.

These brands tend to be unlocked, making them easier to spoof compared to others.
CPU
AMD Ryzen
AMD platforms support RAID on individual drives, allowing for new disk serials.

These drives allow changing the model name and serial number via OEM tools. If choosing your own disks, check if your motherboard supports NVMe RAID, as some do not.
