# Create Installation Medium

For any other game, please ignore!

1. For **League of Legends**, use **Windows 10**
2. For **Valorant**, use **Windows 11** (unless you have a **new TPM chip**)

**YOU MUST DO A FRESH INSTALL FROM USB**

In order to **remove all potential traces**, you must reinstall Windows **directly from a USB** rather than doing a cloud install or a wipe via Windows.

## How To Create Install Medium

### Create Windows ISO (skip if ISO downloaded)

1. Run <kbd>MediaCreationTool.exe</kbd>  as an administrator.
2. Accept the <kbd>Terms of Service and Privacy Agreement</kbd>.
3. Choose <kbd>Create installation media for another PC</kbd>.
4. Click <kbd>Next</kbd>  on the language, architecture, and edition selection screen.
5. Select the <kbd>ISO</kbd>  file option.
6. Choose <kbd>Desktop</kbd>  as the save location for the ISO file.
7. Wait for the process to complete!

### Create Bootable USB

1. Run <kbd>Rufus</kbd>  as Administrator.
2. Select your USB drive from the <kbd>Device</kbd> list.
3. Click <kbd>SELECT</kbd>  and choose your Windows ISO file.
4. Ensure <kbd>Partition scheme</kbd>  is set to GPT.
5. In the additional options, make sure to:
   * <kbd>Disable BitLocker automatic device encryption</kbd>
   * <kbd>Disable data collection</kbd>
   * <kbd>Create a local account</kbd>
6. Confirm any prompts and click <kbd>Start</kbd>.
7. Wait for the process to complete and then close Rufus!

1. Go to your motherboard's website page.
2. Go to support, then downloads and then drivers.
3. Download the WiFi drivers and extract it to a folder on your USB.
   * **Sometimes, Windows does not install the WiFi drivers by default**
